Who Should I follow

Who should I follow were the words that echoed back and forth in the Travellers spirit as the Lord showed him the one asking this question. This one had been seeking for many a day and as yet no one had answered her question.

The Lord had prepared the way as the Traveller had briefly spoken unto this seeker many days before.

The Lord continued to speak and said to the Traveller this one is confused as to who she should follow. She sees many men doing and speaking many things and sees many buildings with names on them which causes more confusion in her as she seeks the truth in all things.

Will you go to her the Lord speaks and I will fill your mouth with the words that she needs to hear so confusion will leave her heart and mind and spirit.

So the Traveller went to this one and spoke the words that the Lord filled his mouth with. This dear child was so thrilled and overcome with the words as they cut to the heart of all things inside of her.

She came to a realisation that the Traveller had come once before to her. She told him after the previous brief encounter she knew God Almighty our Father was listening to her.

She had sat in her quiet place that day and cried with many tears as the realisation came to her that she was not praying to a God that did not answer. He had heard her and sent one of his to show his love in His own special way.

Further to this she went home and told her husband, and Grandmother just what had happened on this day.

Many times our Lord and friend and God and King spoke the words follow me to those around him and those that were placed before Him.

Here is one example, John 12:26: If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

Those with an open heart did just that followed Him, but others rejected the words out of hand. Our Lord would say and does say the same words today as he did in the day he walked upon this earth for a short period of time.

The Lord showed the Traveller there were two lessons here. The first one was that many are seeking and no one is going to them. And because in these days he is pouring out his spirit on all men he is showing these ones truly seeking that many of the places and men that confess his names are indeed false and so he holds them back from entering that place.

John 4:35: Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Lift up your head and look upon the fields saith the Lord unto the Traveller for surely they are ready to harvest. If you do this thing I will show you those that are ready to come and follow me alone.

Second thing the Lord said is that religion and all that it is and has become is a stumbling block to those that are seeking me. It brings upon those who venture into those places myths, traditions and many other man made things that stop these ones truly knowing me and all that I am.

Matthew 23:13: But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

For those in these places it is the blind leading the blind and surely they will all fall into the ditch that is before them.

Luke 6:39: And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

The Traveller departed this seeker giving glory and honour to the Lord with thanksgiving in his heart knowing that the Lord always hears the words from the hearts of those calling and seeking him alone.

The Lord had heard this child and said others would be put before her as she travelled that narrow path for her and her family and she would find that she was seeking with all that she was and is.
