Who Is this Jesus

Who is this Jesus you may ask. This is the question Jesus asked of Peter & the disciples.

Mark 8:27 Whom do men say that I am?

The disciples answer, Mark 8:28 And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.

And he (Jesus) saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

And Peter answereth ( on behalf of the group) and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

These men had only been with Jesus a short space of time. They had heard the words that poured from within him.

They saw the miracles that were performed and beyond doubt answered the question put to them with full conviction - Thou art the Christ.

We also see here how men saw Jesus, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.

In essence they either did not know or they were confused as to the truth of the matter.

Question here is, who do you say Jesus is?

Day after day I hear men speak the same words as the disciples given by the disciples to Jesus. I also hear men deny him altogether. Mock him, laugh at him and much more.

In the case of those who say he is a past prophet they are standing afar off.

They have watched miracles performed, heard the words poured out from his mouth and yet confusion reigns within their hearts and minds as to the true identity of Jesus.

They know God Almighty but never come to that place where the blindness is lifted from their eyes and the deafness from their ears so that they see Jesus in all His glory as did the disciples and many others.

They have never invited Jesus in to their homes, hearts and never had a personal conversation with him. They continue to listen to men, they continue to walk in man made religion, just as it was in Jesus' day.

They fail to seek the TRUTH of the matter, they accept what men say and walk according to man's ways not Jesus'. They are blind and the blind lead them and both shall fall into a ditch is what the word speaks out.

What about those who deny him altogether I hear you say. The challenge to these ones, a dare if you like is.

Go stand in your closet wherever and whatever that maybe and speak out, yell, do whatever and call upon Jesus to reveal himself to you.

You will see Him in all His Glory revealed before your eyes, I know, so does my beloved brother Paul. Acts 26:15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? ( Paul's words) And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. (Jesus' answer).

Paul was one who had been bought up, trained in religion and was zealous to the core and at the time he meet Jesus face to face was going around the country imprisoning and much more to the many of those who followed after Jesus with all that they were.

Paul found his answer to the question "Who Is this Jesus" will you?

Will you be carried along by those in religion or by those who live for the day and for themselves and never hear the words of FREEDOM from everything in this world.

Will you never allow Jesus to show you the wondrous miracles being performed day by day by His hands and words.

Take the challenge, take the dare, do not let religious men, evil or anything else get in your way to find out Who Is this Jesus.
