Who Am I

Who am I? I am a soldier in the Lord Jesus Christ, called upon not to be of this world but to die to it and myself.

I am not a citizen of any country of this world but a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven.

My road has and is as many others who walk in Christ Jesus upon this earth, filled with joy and wonder, times of great sadness, persecution and temptations.

Yet amongst it all I walk in faith and not by sight, many times alone and yet not alone.

Many times others are around me but then they must go but as I am called upon to endure the hardness of this world as a good soldier is called to do, I move forward to that mark of the the high calling of God Almighty in Christ Jesus.

Jesus never told me to “go to church” but He tells me to be His church, to let my light shine in this world so that all men are drawn unto him.

He tells me to not stop meeting together with others in Him and so I don’t because He brings them across my path. To love, to encourage, to pray with and lift up before our Father who art in heaven.

As I continue to walk deeper in him, the deep of God calls unto the deep in me, ever drawing me on, always looking ahead never behind, looking to the invisible and not to the visible and watching our heavenly Father and Lord wrought His work in people’s lives and upon the land He has placed my feet upon.

For I am the least of all God’s people, called to walk in the wildnerness unto that time he brings me to the wide place where I shall surely see His Glory shine forth upon this earth.

He tells me a shadow is over all lands and to watch and pray for the things that the Holy Spirit shows me are coming forth upon this land and those others upon this earth.

This shadow is for a time and time to be and was written and spoken about from the beginning of time. As there was a beginning He speaks, so there must be an end, and an end is surely coming.

All things written will be fulfilled and then the end shall come upon all men of this earth. Untill this time He calls and speaks unto me, I am to follow Him and no one else.

Many will try to turn me, ignorant of what they are doing, but as long as I remain in Him, He will remain in me, for apart from Him I can do nothing.

Many will turn away from me, many will curse me, but He reminds me that it is not I that they are speaking these words to, but to Him.

I am to love them and turn the other cheek and continue on my way and leaving these ones in His hands. Bless those that curse you He calls for you are heaping coals of fire upon their heads.

As I hear these words and are obedient to them, I pass these ones by with my heart and eyes set firmly on the end of the race, to dwell with Him for enternity and forevermore.
