Treasures of Darkness

When many of those who say they walk in the Kingdom of God read these few words, treasures of darkness, the reaction and words that come from them is amazing.

For a short space of time the Lord had me use this name “handle” when visiting paltalk rooms. The comments one got ranged from, God is a God of Light, Only satan walks in darkness and the list was endless.

One of the room moderators who ran a spiritual warfare room booted me out and would not let me in. I emailed him and asked him why. He told me I had come to destroy what God was doing in the room.

Our Lord created the heavens and the earth and he created day and night. With night being darkness, why do so many in his kingdom relate darkness to evil?

They are calling something the Lord created evil and there is a scripture about that. My people perish through lack of knowledge is what the Lord would say.

Evil and night or darkness that the Lord created are two separate things. Yes evil uses the cover of darkness to do many things in this world but that does not makes darkness or night evil.

However let us address the real issue here. Is “Treasures of Darkness” scriptural?

Isaiah 45:3: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

When many were shown this scripture, their reply was that they were not aware of such a statement made by God Almighty Himself.

Here is another statement out of the word. Psalms 18:11: He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

Here God is saying “I will give thee the treasures of darkness ” and “darkness is His secret place”. When I first read what was written in Isaiah and in the Psalms I cried out, Lord what do you mean by these words.

His answer was simple to understand. The “treasures of darkness” are his knowledge and wisdom. Unless we seek him, ask him, knock on his door about the things of the Lord, then we shall never have the understanding of His Truth, His Way, His Life whilst we are here on this earth.

God does hide himself and His knowledge and scripture is clear that if we are not diligent and study his word we shall never find those hidden treasures let alone understand anything written in the word of God.

Wisdom, whose wisdom? His wisdom is the principle thing and with all your getting, get understanding of everything that He is and then you shall truly walk in God Almighty.

His wisdom is the treasure of darkness and the riches of darkness are understanding them and applying them to your life in Him whilst you are passing through this earth.

Know the heart of the King, and then you shall know the plans of the King. Know the plans of the King, and then you shall walk in them in your life time and see the light of God shine through you into those who walk in total darkness / separation from the Living God.

This is very true what you have written. It is very important to read the scripture in context and not assume and also allow scripture to interpret scripture like you have done.

Darkness also means a lack of knowledge but when we receive Jesus light comes.

Thanks.
