The Burning Bush

Remember these scriptures Exodus 3:3-4: And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

In everyone’s lives there is a burning bush and at this time we will decide to turn aside or turn away to see this great sight. If we turn aside to see this great sight then our Father in heaven will call out our names from the mist of this bush.

If we choose to turn away then our Father’s voice will be silent but He never forgets or stops loving or encouraging you to return unto your Father who Art in Heaven.

This burning bush can be any circumstance or situation in your life. It may be the darkest hours of your earthly life or the most joyful moment but be assured this burning bush will appear.

Those in the world may say it comes only once but this is not fact the Lord would say.

Our Father’s children are never out of His thoughts and His son intercedes for them before His throne in heaven.

He is patient, he is gentle and will wait, and yes I say wait until that moment which may happen many times for one who keeps turning away, but for one who has truly come to the end of themselves then the burning bush may only need to appear once for them to turn aside to see this great sight.

Like Moses you may argue with your Father about what you can do, but it is not what you can do but what the Lord can do through you.

He may send you near but he may also send you to those in far off lands for in all cases a prophet is not received in his own town.

Be not afraid, be strong and courageous and know apart from me you can do nothing, remain in me and I will remain in and with you to the end of your days.

Be diligent and learn “the way” and let the comforter, teacher and guide take you through your walk upon this earth and you will see the glory of your Father overshadow you as it did Peter.

As Peter was sifted so shall you be sifted and yes you shall walk in that wilderness like Moses and my Son did till all that earthly dross is burnt from you.

Many will leave your side, but I will bring to you those who truly walk and live in me. It is these ones who will travel those highways and byways with you till I bring you home to be with me.

You will be like a good soldier who will endure the hardness of this earthly life; you will not get involved in civilian affairs for you will be about your Father’s business.

There are ones crying out even now for someone to go to them and give them the good news, the fields are ripe for harvest but the true workers are few.

Will you be like Moses and obey and go and do what your Father has been quietly telling you to go and do for Him?

Will you be like Peter, know who He is and yet deny him three times and then in utter contempt of yourself, hand your total life unto the Father to use as He wills and see people’s life changed and the family of God Almighty be added unto daily.

Are you one who is like Paul, so religious you have been blinded by the ambitions of men who are building their own kingdoms and towers upon this earth.

Then like Paul you too shall have the Lord overshadow you in the blinding light and you will ask the same question as He did.

All, the Lord would say will have their burning bush and all will make their choice but no matter what does happen the Lord will have his victory upon this earth and all will see for themselves who truly is the only true God, Father and King of this land.
