Second Hand God

Is our father who art in heaven a second hand God? What do you mean I hear the voices cry out and some in anger?

Well when one walks amongst the children of God one always hears that they are more than happy to accept the hand me downs, the second best that this world has to give.

One should note the words these ones use, this world. This world is more than happy to give you second best, the hand me downs and keep you from obtaining what the Lord really has for you.

Religion and the world will tell you to give all that you are and what you have unto their Kingdoms and that you should be poor in all things, in spirit and in material things. They will say you should be happy with what you have for your reward is in heaven but this is part truth.

These words are not what our Father in heaven says from His throne. Our Father does not give His tasks to his children and then give them only second hand tools to complete this work. If he did His work would never be completed in this world.

Oh I hear the murmur that arises from your voices that this one is preaching the prosperity gospel. You say he is saying everyone should be rich beyond measure in all things.

The voice that repeats what the Father is saying would say you are placing words in my mouth and have no understanding of the Father's way.

Yes, he does say, Luke 12:34: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

And, Luke 12:33: Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

However he would say, if I send you to do my work upon this earth, I will supply all that you need to complete that work.

It will be the best not the second best that this world has to offer. Luke 12:32: Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Your Father will only supply the best equipment, people and whatever else is needed to carry out the task He has placed in your heart and hands.

If you seek the second best then that is what you will find. If you seek the best who is your Father who has all authority in heaven and earth and under the earth and on the earth to come, then you will be given the best of His kingdom.

The Lord would say instead of accepting what this world may say and give say with all that you are, Psalms 18:2: The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Only when you trust in me my children with all that you are and walk in my ways will you see my glory in all parts of your life.

Psalms 2:8: Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
