Morning has Come
Morning has come were the words that sprung from Mary's heart as she saw her
blessed child again.
She had watched the men of this world crucify her son, her heart was broken for he was now
gone and dead.
She was told where he had been laid to rest but she clung to his words that death would not hold
him and he would live again.
The others that surrounded her told her now that this day was over she should go and get some
rest.
She was sure that their words meant well but her for her it was not over. It would never,
never be, her child would always be alive to her for she knew somehow that life could not be sealed up in
a tomb.
All she had to hold to were his words that promised to be with her and never let her go, so that
was she held to, this was all that she could know.
Then came the morning, night turned into day, the stone had been rolled away. Shadows were
banished before the Son, death had lost and life had won for morning had come.
Now it was done she knew it was true for deep in her heart she knew her son would live and
rise again for morning had come.
Matthew 28:5-7: And the angel answered and said unto
the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he
said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the
dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told
you.
And as it is written so it did happen. Jesus her Son now sits at the right hand of the Father
and is alive and not dead.
Colossians 1:18: And he is the head of the body, the church: who is
the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence, I
would hear Mary his mother say to all who would listen, worship Him alone.
