LONELINESS POEM
This poem was given to me in a time where one finds oneself where we in the flesh feel that deep
despair which flows through us in the form of loneliness. Everyone finds themselves in this place at sometime in
their lives.
Loneliness
Loneliness is like a deep black sea
In it one cannot see
The void is so great
It causes you to break
Not from outside but inside that sea
You open your mouth, your heart cries out
Anguish & pain and despair flow out
But the many who are blinded just do not see
From within that void A small voice speaks out
Here I am, Here I am Open your heart and you will see
So I opened my heart and a light so bright
That it filled every crevice inside of me
A light so healing
A light so full of love, mercy and grace
A light so blood red it set me free
I looked once again and again I looked and it was the savior
The savior of men who had spoken to me
I will never leave you, my love is immense
So reach out as you cry out to the King that you see
Not only am I King but brother and friend
To all the lonely like you who cry out to me.
Who are you? you say as healing tear drops do fall
For I am your all in all
My name to many is many
My name Yesu, Jesus and Savior to all
My love for you is boundless and limitless
And filled with so much joy that you will see
Come, come I say and let me fill that place
That place where many like you
Have crawled to hide in your hurt and pain
Hide no more but come and follow me
And many brothers and sisters will I give unto thee
Not one nor two nor three will you see
But many which already stand with me
They will walk with you filled with me
And love you and bear you along the way in the current of this sea
So the blackness departs
The light surrounds
And I know so very deep within
That I am loved for who I am
And for whom I was made
Let me go I cry
And pass on this word
So that the many who still stand where I once stood
Can see your face and be filled with your love
A love that cannot be found
But before you our Lord and King
He is a King who loves beyond loneliness, pain and hurt
His blessed love will sweep away all of these things and leave you free
Who is He?
Who is He you may ask
Jesus of Nazareth
Turn and look
Not with your eyes but with your heart
And you will be truly be set free
