Honour all men

by Brendan McCrossan

Honour all men I heard my Father say as I sat listening to him teach me on the things of the Kingdom of God Almighty.

Do you understand what I mean was the question he spoke unto me and this was my answer to him.

Father I know in the carnal / natural man I would not be able to do this as I would be apart from God Almighty and all that He is in himself.

I would be filled with darkness and not know what true love is and because of this I would honour no one except myself.

But through His Son and my Lord Jesus Christ I have been grafted back into the family and brotherhood of God. And because I have been obedient and been washed in the blood and born again and filled with His spirit He is in me and all that he represents is also in me.

This enables me to go forth into the same places He did and sit and dine with those who are utterly lost as I was and bring them the good news.

Many of the lost are committing vile things that are an abomination to him. They speak words of jest and hate against him but because I am in Him and He is in me I am able to love and honour them with all that I am.

I say to my Father the ones that are placed before me come from many parts of this earth and many are in man made religions yet that flicker of you in them and your light shining out from me draws them unto you as you say in your word.

Honouring all men means no matter what they say or where they are in their life on this earth I am to walk amongst these ones who are seeking as their hearts are open and willing to listen.

I know Father they see something in me but they do not really understand it but it draws them to me and Christ Jesus in me.

I ask of my Father is this what you mean by Honour all men. My Father's reply to me was, you have learnt well my Son. The Spirit of Truth that dwells in you has taught you well because you have been diligent in seeking.

You also have learnt to be still in Him so you can hear His voice speaking these things to you. You have done well and are a faithful friend and disciple to him.

Because you understand this I know you also understand what it means to Love the Brotherhood, Fear God and Honour the King.

At these words He stood and departed from the room but not before wrapping his arms around me with a smile on his face and a tear in his eye.
