Here Today and then Snatched Away

Here today and snatched away
A bright sunny day and I oft go my way
A bang, then smoke and I find myself lying down
Voices talking loudly and running feet I do hear
Oh, what is that I see lying down over there,
Oh, what I see is a part and all of me

Tears I do feel falling down as I see many men bending over me
I feel myself slipping away from a place that I really did not know
I remember what I should of, could of done
And things of this world that I would of done

That what had meaning now has no meaning at all

To those that I leave behind do I shout and cry out to you
The greatest thing that you may do
Is not by what you have but who you are
Deep inside of your spirit you see.

Mankind is but a child I now see
So blinded by the darkness from this world

Just how foolish mankind can be
